Job description
We are looking for a full-time Interaction Designer to lead the design of new features for our system that works across the web, PC, Mac, and iPhone. This role is vital to the company and has a significant impact on our products and customers. You will have the opportunity to manage the entire interaction design process from start to finish, seeing concepts from low-fidelity sketches to finalized mockups. You will work closely with our engineering and creative teams throughout the design process. You will also be responsible for user testing including developing test plans, conducting tests and analyzing results. You will be faced with interesting design challenges that require knowledge of multiple platforms and devices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-5 years of related experience with interaction design
- Experience working with Product Managers and Software Engineers to provide well-defined UI design for company products
- Experience creating high level wireframes, flow diagrams, and prototypes to explore and communicate interaction design ideas
- Experience working with visual designers to transform high level ideas into screenshots for engineering to implement
- Ability to conduct user testing to inform product features
- Excellent and demonstrable web UI design skills and ability to show relevant work
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Desired
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in HCI, Cognitive Science, Graphic Design, computer science, or related field
- Entrepreneurial spirit, demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment
