Job description
This client is a massive forward-thinking and customer-focused information rich portal. They are looking to put together dynamic project teams who can build User Centred Design into all of their web projects. The Insight Consultant / Usability Consultant will be working, as part of a large team, across a variety of high-profile web projects inside this fast paced group.
On a day-to-day basis you will gather and collate departmental insight pertinent to the design of interactive services and document ‘user needs’ lifecycle. You will create scenarios and personas to aid interaction designers and validate user journeys usability. It is essential that you can persuasively present findings (customer description, logical groupings, need states & refined proposition at Board level) and feed this into (co-author) online proposition documents.
You will have a minimum of 3+ years leading research projects (both internal and agency) and have a proven ability to:
- rapidly assimilate data
- collate a coherent picture
- validate accuracy with subject matter experts
- derive need states
- create personas
- assist with the interaction design process, ensuring customer needs are met and usability is achieved
