At RMS we are looking for an experienced Software Developer to design and build robust, intuitive and elegant interfaces for our next generation of Business Intelligence Software. RMS is looking for a passionate, smart and analytical trailblazer to launch a brand new business intelligence decision support commercial application. This application is a multi-tiered, multi-layer cutting edge technology that provides real time analytics.
- You will have an opportunity to build and design the next generation of enterprise level, version 1, business intelligence suites written in .Net technologies.

Responsibilities
We are developing a world-class Business Intelligence application suite for the Insurance Industry. As part of that effort we seek an individual to define and implement the overall user experience. This is a senior role and we are looking for out of the box thinking combined with a solid technical understanding of .NET. We require experience building and designing analytical problem solving interfaces.
Essential job functions
- Design and develop user experiences that “surprise and delight”
- Assume responsibility for all areas of the user interaction including workflow, guidance, layout, graphics and the overall gestalt experience
- Think visually and picture the user interaction through the eyes of various personas
- Rapidly assume a leadership role in delivering a critical application scheduled to ship next year
- Work collaboratively with Product Management and other application development teams in the development and evangelizing of the user experience
Qualifications
- Experience building both Web and Winforms/WPF enterprise applications using Microsoft technology
- Experience with DreamWeaver, Flex, Expression Blend, etc. desired
- Experience building business intelligence or decision support systems
- Experience with insurance applications strongly desired
- Good interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to be a team player, experience working with local and remote sites
- Ability to function effectively in a Release 1 environment where requirements are constantly being implemented, tested and improved
- High energy, drive and passion for the role
