Description
Delvinia Interactive is looking for recent graduates (or near graduates) of new media, information design, human-computer interaction, library science, or similar field – with an interest in learning more about Information Architecture / User Experience Design. This is a 6 month mentorship program with the possibility for full-time employment after completion of the 6 months. This is not a summer internship. You must be able to work a 40 hour work week and be authorized to work in Canada.
Candidates will work with our Experience Design Specialist and Strategist to assist with heuristic evaluations, competitive analyses, requirements gathering, sitemaps/flows, wireframes, and functional specifications. If you are not sure what these are, then this is not the right job for you.
Required skills:
- Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a recognized Canadian college or university program in new media, information design, human-computer interaction, library science, or similar field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Analytical thinking
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Ability to multi-task
- Some exposure to Information Architecture (sitemaps/flows, wireframes, functional specifications)
- Willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback
