Account Director Exciting, Entrepreneurial, User Centred Design Consultancy
Small and perfectly formed, this is a cracking opportunity for a budding Account Director or experienced Account Manager to join a successful consultancy with ambitious plans for growth.
This user centred consultancy has enjoyed 3 highly successful years and keen to become a recognised name in the UCD industry. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key part in shaping the offering and being a part of their continued success.
Their approach and design process is all about progressive iteration and human contact. Their clients really appreciate their ability to develop quick prototypes to put in front of users and value their can-do attitude to problem solving, creative thinking and attention to detail in the final solutions. Clients range from big names in the banking and media sectors, management consultancies to government departments.
Taking the day-to-day client servicing reins from the MD, you'll build on existing client relationships with clients, proactively managing expectations and keeping projects on track by co-coordinating the agency internal team planning, resourcing and ensuring timely delivery. Through building a rapport with clients and developing your understanding of their business, you'll spot potential opportunities to develop the account and grow the business.
Knowledge of the User Centred Design space will set you in good stead, but it's not a must-have after all you'll be working with a team of experts! If you don't come from a UX agency, perhaps you're an Account Director or Account Manager in a digital marketing agency who's had exposure to user centred design and research, and genuinely interested in customer experience and how people behave online? You&3039;re happy to move away from the look and feel of creative campaigns, and focus on what makes a difference, strategically, to your client's business.
Most important is a professional, positive attitude, commitment to client servicing. Commercially minded, you'll be responsible for driving account development for your clients really getting under the skin of your clients' business and proactively identifying new business opportunities for the agency.
