Job description
My client, a user centred design agency was set up in the year 2000 by 2 directors – one whose specialism was journalism and another who comes from an HCI background. In 2006, they merged to became part of a web analytics and behavioural marketing company. This gives them a strong edge in the market place and they are very focused on the behaviours of the user – how they behave, where they come from, what conversations they are having, etc.
They have a good balance of public and private sector clients and are looking for a few people to join them this year as part of their growth plans. They have a healthy amount of shorter-term usability projects but are increasingly winning big projects with a user centred design focus. I am looking for some user centred design and usability consultants to join them on a full-time basis in their offices in Victoria.
You must have:
- Commercial experience of implementing usability projects from start to finish.
- Hands-on experience of task script development, the organisation of testing sessions, moderating, analysis and report writing.
- An ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- An awareness of current web accessibility issues.
