Job description
Our client is looking to build their Interactive team and bring on a number of freelancers for short-term (a few weeks) and long-term (a few months) assignments. On their behalf, we are looking for intermediate Designers with Web and Flash design experience.

Our client is Canada's largest marketing services agencies, helping FP500 clients solve some of their toughest business issues. Our client offers marketing services, training/eLearning, market research, and reward/recognition/retention programs and services for their clients.
You will be working on a number of projects for high profile Canadian businesses in the automotive, financial services, pharmaceutical and telecommunications industries. The scope of projects include email campaigns, DM & CRM campaigns, microsites, banner ads, eLearning modules/Flash presentations, as well as loyalty/reward programs for their clients.
Responsibilities:
- Create effective visual designs for interactive TV, mobile and web/PC applications.
- Create and customize different effects including text, navigation animation, video and audio.
- Use of Flash, HTML, ActionScript and CSS to create high-quality prototypes and interactive presentations.
Skills and requirements:
- Strong creative/arts background with exceptional visual design skills and communications skills.
- Able to work with customers to translate requirements and wireframes into relevant designs.
- Solid skills in the areas of Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, layout, typography, animation, and user interaction design (icons, interface elements).
- An online portfolio of creative projects including Flash is required.
- At least 3 years experience with Flash.
- At least 3 years experience in graphics design.
- At least 3 years experience in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- At least 1 year exposure to ActionScript.
- At least 1 year exposure to advanced HTML and CSS.
- At least 1 year exposure to video editing and effects software such as Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects.
Other requirements
This assignment is on-site, Monday-Friday, regular working hours. Access to dependable vehicle to get to office location required.
