Position summary

Senior UI Designer required for growing Technical Software team based in Ireland. The successful UI Designer will be offered complete autonomy and freedom in the role and will be tasked with taking these cutting edge solutions forward, to ensure future releases look and feel fresh and cutting edge.  Salary up to 65k Euro for the right person.

Description

A senior UI designer (user interface designer) reporting directly to the software development director is currently required to join my client to become a crucial part of their development team who are creating state of the art technology.

Working closely with business stakeholder the user interface designer will be responsible for;

• translating the clients requirements into compelling and usable interfaces
• developing new creative directions and user experiences

Ideally, the right user interface designer will have:

• excellent design skills and an eye for detail
• knowledge of HTML, RSS, AJAX and Web Services technologies
• familiarity with the latest .NET technologies
• exposure to Silverlight, Flash or Flex

and obviously you will be expected to have a thorough understanding of best practices for creating user interface experiences in commercial software products.

Qualifications and requirements:

• excellent design skills and an eye for detail
• knowledge of HTML, RSS, AJAX and Web Services technologies
• familiarity with the latest .NET technologies
• exposure to Silverlight, Flash or Flex
• ideally educated to degree level
