Position Summary

If you’re looking for a professional team who will value your experience and advice as a trusted User Research/Usability Engineer, then please consider this role. You’ll be joining a seasoned team of Product Managers and UX Professionals to work with the re-crafting of a large, consumer facing property.

The property has been around for a while and is looking to add some custom experiences that need to be well researched and tested. This team’s UX methodology is mature and they will look to you to be a crucial player in helping to steer the course of this major redesign.

Description

This is a contract role that should last about 8 months with possible extensions. Junior talent or recent graduates are welcome to apply BUT you will not be considered for this particular role.

Qualifications and requirements

Web usability within an eCommerce environment
Persona and Scenario Development
Design and conduct different types of user research studies, including lab-based usability studies, field studies, and usability inspections (heuristic evaluations or cognitive walkthroughs).
Data analysis (qualitative and quantitative)
Understanding business requirements and translating into user research
Measuring usability ROI
Metrics of user behavior analysis (observation, click traffic, and survey results)
Collaborating with product teams
